About Frazer Waller
I'm Frazer, a travel and documentary photographer, working in a reportage style since 1996.
My early career began photographing local news, and while I was still at the Citizen I was also on staff for Snowboard UK. I've always had a fondness for travel, mountains and the outdoors, and that was where I first found a way to link those passions with the work.
I went freelance in 2000 — a couple of years as senior photographer for Alliance, the UK wakeboarding magazine, regular commissions from Jockey Slut, and advertising and marketing campaigns for Madison across Giro and their other brands. Later came features for Mountain Bike UK and four cycling titles for Bloomsbury.
Through the 2010s that instinct took me to travel destinations for TUI UK, Villa Plus and others, photographing hotels, excursions and the places around them.
Between April 2021 and December 2023 I lived off-grid in rural Bohemia, documenting village life. That work is on this site under Stories, alongside recent projects from Sri Lanka and Indonesia.
I'm available for travel, destination and documentary commissions.
