Deadzone Tourism

I travelled to Ukraine to find out about tourism in the dead zone. To my horror, I discovered that this “Tourist Attraction” was one of the most popular trips to take when visiting Kyiv. From advertising cards in hotel lobbies and what to do in Kyiv guides promoting the dead zone tours. After experiencing the tour, something I wouldnt’ want to repeat, was that the money made from these tours stays in the capital and doesn’t help the people who have chosen to move back to their homes and live out their lives affected by the disaster that happened in 1986.
