Moravian Hody
Czech Hody refers to traditional Czech festivals or feasts, which are an integral part of Czech culture. These celebrations typically take place between June and September, with the peak season being July to September. Each village, town, and city quarter has its own unique Hody. Organised by local young couples with two couples as the main pair of organisers. A family friend was the head stárka who is the main organiser. The festivities start at the Staárka’s family home over several days of celebrations that are filled with music, dancing, drinking Moravian wines, and eating.
